Many times teachers don’t understand how to really teach Time from a calendar. This is great!

Those are great goals. I should probably work on the organized part with my 5 year old. 🙂

I have five boys and one of our family homeschool goals is to teach them to be organized and independent before they graduate from high school. Of course, before high school is a better goal, but in our home, our boys haven’t been ready to dive in to planning until 9th-10th grade. Getting kiddos comfortable with reading and checking a family calendar is an EXCELLENT way to begin!!

It might be a little early yet, but I think he’d had fun with a calendar. Thanks for the ideas!

We used the magnet ones and there are definitely pros and cons to it.
For these, I love the kids having their own. My kids love to mark off the days on the calendar. I will have to look into these ones!
